This is a formula I learned from herbalist Matthew Wood, especially to
help bring warming ease to the lower back. Apply anywhere that needs a sigh of relief, welcoming you to somatic sanctuary.

Contains wild-crafted Hemlock tree needles (tsuga canadensis, in no way related to the poison water hemlock), Mugwort leaf & flower, and Goldenrod leaf and flower. All of these plants grow near each other, where the forest meets a meadow (aka an ecotone), at a beloved lake in the Catskills of NY. This is where I had the honor of harvesting them for this muscle rub.

The scent is evergreen, warming, and uplifting. One of my favorite smells on Earth.

The salve is dark green and extra potent, like all of my balms and oils. Base of organic Arizona jojoba oil, organic high-oleic sunflower oil, and local beeswax. In a 2oz screw top tin.
