Purify, protect, and soothe with this all-organic and botanical-based salve. Inspired by the Legend of the Four Thieves, I created Banish Balm to serve as an extra layer of protection after and between hand-washing; to soothe and rejuvenate dry skin; and to encourage deep breathing with its aromatherapeutic properties.

Banish Balm is made with a base of oils strongly infused with Angelica, Clove, and Calendula with added Lemon & Rosemary essential oils for extra potency. This balm is beautifully aromatic— with uplifting notes of spice and citrus— and it is also very soothing for the skin with resinous, renown Calendula flowers.

Have you ever heard of the story of the Four Thieves? Legend has it that in 15th-century France, a group of bandits were able to loot households rife with the Black P lague by protecting themselves with a blend of aromatic plants such as Clove, Lemon, & Rosemary.

Angelica Root is also connected with the times of the P lague. The legend told is that Archangel Michael appeared in a vision to a monk, informing him that the root of this plant would be helpful for protection. That's how Angelica archangelica got its name.

Apart from its protective use on the physical level, Banish Balm can also be used to protect your energetic field. Angelica & Rosemary especially offer a strong psycho-spiritual boundary. If you feel the need to banish any unwelcome energy in your field, whether that be presently occurring or arising from past hurts, you can rub Banish Balm on a sensitive part of your body to strengthen and protect it.

PLEASE NOTE: Although I always try for a perfect pour, your salve may arrive with fine bubbles atop that might look like a slight film. This happens due to pouring at a cooler temperature. This is completely normal and the imperfection can simply be wiped away; the integrity and quality of the salve is not compromised!
