How to nourish your perennial dreams?

Tonight the moon waxes full in the sign of Aries.  Traditionally, the full moon is a time to tie up the threads of ongoing missions-- a moment to reflect, release, and bring closure as we enter the inward, waning phase of the lunar cycle. Aries relates to the work of the Self.  This is a potent time to take notice:  which of your personal goals have yet to come to fruition? What needs to be released to make way for the new?

Like these autumn trees, give yourself permission to shed.  We must exhale in order to inhale.  This season asks us to make space for our dreams; for months ahead of fertile darkness which bring with rest, inner visions.

In the ancestral Celtic calendar, the end of October, which we approach, was considered to be the start of the New Year.  This reflects the knowing that in this season, perennial seeds are planted which will sprout in the Spring. Though, their journey of life begins in these months of overwintering-- becoming nourished and strong enough to sprout.

Every beginning starts in the darkness:  be it the womb, the Earth, a difficult period of life.

What we let go of now can nourish whatever perennial seeds we plant at the New Moon at the end of October.

If you’d like, join me on that planting day-- Sunday, October 27th-- for a journey into the heart of Hawthorn, where along with connecting with this powerful Plant Ally, we’ll be tapping into the potential of the New Moon and the medicine of this autumn season.  See it as part of the Plant Ally Series below.

Each class in the Plant Ally Series offers an opportunity to deeply connect to a specific medicinal herb. During the gathering, we will engage our intuitions as we experience the plant’s medicine, allowing ourselves to attune to its healing properties through meditative observation and herbal theory. Then we will address the Materia Medica of the plant, discovering the herb’s traditional lore and how to work with its medicine to heal on physical and energetic levels. After this class, you’ll have a new friend in the herb world!

This Plant Ally Series focuses on herbs that heal interpersonal boundaries while also acting as messengers from Beyond. These herbs guide us to claim our “No”, empowering us to be open-hearted with others while not taking on their energy in ways that leave us feeling drained. Meanwhile, these plants offer us gateways to the Spirit World, letting us traverse boundaries between realms to connect with Ancestors, Spirits, and the Unseen -- all in the spirit of this Autumn season.

One Class Exchange: $25
(includes prepared medicine to experience and a small amulet to continue your allyship!)
Class Bundle: $60
